Dear Zoo Topic – Learning About Pets! This week, as part of our Dear Zoo topic, we have been learning all about what pets need to stay healthy, happy, and well cared for. We were incredibly lucky to welcome Chantal (one of our lovely mums) and Jess from a local veterinary surgery. They gave us a wonderful insight into how vets help animals and keep them healthy. The children loved using stethoscopes to listen to heartbeats , learning how vets dress for surgery , and practising how to apply plasters and bandages to pets in need . There was lots of excitement, curiosity, and hands-on learning throughout the morning! This fantastic experience helped us learn more about caring for animals while living out our Christian values of Koinonia (community) and Love , as we showed kindness, care, compassion, and respect for all living things.
