Wellbeing Champions
At All Saints Primary School, the role of our wellbeing champions is to promote and encourage positive wellbeing in the classroom and across the school. We have a team of 6 pupils from across Years 4-6.
Our core beliefs and values:
- Mental health matters just as much as our physical health
- Actively promoting positive wellbeing and helping others to feel good is important
- Providing advice and support to our peers, without judgement, can allow others to feel safe and secure
- Reducing the stigma around mental health problems in school will create a more inclusive, open environment
- Engaging with students in a relatable manner and promoting wellbeing strategies and positive relationships will connect us further
Our responsibilities:
- Raising awareness about wellbeing activities in our community
- Promoting positive mental health and wellbeing across the school
- Providing learners with a voice
- Acting as ambassadors for wellbeing
- Acting as a role-model
- Presenting in Collective Worship
